I honestly don't know if that made any sense at all, which makes it a very fitting ending I think. Vale, Lost, you truly were the weirdest show I ever watched, even for Sci-Fi.

(I might write a review later, but right now my reaction is mostly "bwuh?")

IMO, it's never a bad thing when you get to use your "indescribable" mood icon.

Hee. I love it, too. And seriously, this absolutely deserved that mood icon!

My brain is still scrambled at the moment, so forgive me if I should know this already, but do you watch Lost, too?

LOL! Yeah, I think maybe that reduces my incoherent multi-paragraph response down into one succinct sentence, too. :)

Yeah, that's very true. Towards the end, I went, "Okay, this is lame... so why am I crying?"

I think it worked for me on an emotional level, at the end of it. The plot was really lame (so you took out the universe's bathtub plug in order to kill an incorporeal villain and then replugged it? Er...)and the more I think about it, the less I buy the concept of a mutually created waiting room to the afterlife in the context of the show as a whole, but that somehow pales before Hurley grinning at Charlie, or Richard being delighted that he ages, or Juliet reuniting with Sawyer. I wish they had gone in another direction with the island itself, since I always felt it was more than a place, but alas, the PTB apparently saw that differently.

Yeah, I wasn't entirely pleased watching it, but I definitely fall rather into the happy camp than the unhappy camp, and all those character moments are the reason. I think Sun and Jin were my favourite, though the ones you mention are great too. (The only thing that bugged me with the Sawyer/Juliet reunion was that the cut back to the island was incredibly clunky.)
