I just discovered over on TWoP that you are watching and liking TRUE BLOOD. Since it is up there with MIDDLEMAN in the race for Best New Show of 2008 IMO, I am feeling like we should start a Good Taste in TV club or something.

Did you post the MM fic yet?

It's slowly growing in my mind. It's a crossover between MM, X-Files and Heroes where characters are concerned, I can say that much. :)

May I say that I was glad to read your name in the spoiler thread? It has all been "I don't want this storyline, it could separate Bill and Sookie." and "I want Sam to be the murderer, because then he won't be between Bill and Sookie." for weeks. I know countless shippers who are completely sane, normal beings, why do I always catch the wack ones?

(Oh, and funky and inigo aren't spoiled for the murderer, so shhh! ;))

And I should amend my previous statement, I don't LOVE True Blood either, but with the exception of MM, it is the only show this past year that has me running to the TV to watch it the night it airs. I want to know what's going to happen. I am intrigued. I had a similar reaction to the pilot. I didn't particularly enjoy it, but I watched it twice and then vowed to give the series a chance. It's got something. Characters, yes, like you say, also a real sense of place.

My enjoyment has been greatly improved since the pilot, to be honest. I just never wrote about it again. I've been kinda busy, unfortunately, that's why the journal suffered a little. I should probably post an update. :)

I agree, though, I think TB is the only new show I'm still watching. I dropped Fringe faster than glowing coals, it was so incredibly boring.
