Wherein I decide to post economically

Instead of just posting the usual quiz, I decided to go for something completely different: a meme and (de facto) content in one shiny post!

- Doctor Who 29/3 - which I am currently watching and liking quite a lot.

- Big Love Season 2 - which got much better in it's last few episodes, so I am looking forward to the new series, especially to the female Henricksons, as well as Heather and Rhonda - who would probably get along scarily well with Angela Petrelli, all things considered.

- Torchwood Series 2 - very, very big maybe since I liked all of three episodes of Season 1, but I am willing to give them another chance.

- Friday Night Lights Season 2 - I can't believe I forgot this the first time around. The first Season was hands down one of the best I've seen this year, and I am hopeful they can keep that level.

- Heroes Season 2 - this with a bit of reservation, as my favourite character sorta got blown up, and if he shouldn't return (small "if," I know, but just in case they stick with the whole "noble redemptive gesture" thing for some reason) I see the danger that I simply get bored with the show. I fear Noah (!) Bennet alone isn't enough to satisfy my morally dubious character quota, and I'm not willing to accept Nathan substitutes, either.

- Ugly Betty Season 2 - because it is quite an adorable show and I want to know how the cliffhangers get resolved, dammit! How will Amanda and Christina get out of the Love Dungeon? Does Amanda being Fey's daughter mean they'll be doing an incest fake out, because no one is sure she isn't also Bradford's? Is Santos really dead or only in a coma? Will Claire manage to take Wili down with Yoga's help, and more importantly, will Claire and Wili engage in a catfight involving a pond? Will Henry and Betty get together already, before the sweetness gives me cavities? Will Ignacio be able to leave Mexico, before his past in form of Mama Suarezes probably not-so-dead ex-husband catches up with him? And most importantly: when will Marc finally find love take over the world?

- Dexter Season 2 - I know next to nothing about this, except that the PTB won't rely on the second Darkly Dreaming Dexter novel too much, but I was so fond of the first season, I'm brimming over with excitement for this one.

- Pushing Daisies - even though I am less than thrilled at the prospective of Bryan Fuller leaving Heroes for this, given that I think he was one of their best writers, I nonetheless love Wonderfalls and Lee Pace, and the first impression I got from trailers was very intriguing.

- Bionic Woman - this has an absolutely horrible timeslot opposite the GA spinoff, so it likely won't get very old, but the trailer made it look like good clean Chicks-kick-ass- fun - and the cast (Katee Sackhoff as the evil prototype, Miguel Ferrer as a shifty military person, Will Yun Lee as some sort of MIB and Mae ("Her?") Whitman as the titular character's younger sister) seems worth checking out. Besides, they managed to already kill off the character who bored me most in the promo, which can only be promising.

- BSG Season 4 - well technically, that's already winter, but I couldn't not include them. Possibly the last season, here is hoping that they can bring it to a satisfying end without falling into the "long-term arc episodes good - standalone episode atrocious" trap too much along the way.

Oh, and before I forget it, two memes:

Your Score: William Powell

You scored 11% Tough, 28% Roguish, 14% Friendly, and 47% Charming!

You are the classic rogue, a stylish rake with the devil of a wit and a flair for mischief, and you shake your martinis to waltz time. You are charming and debonair, but slightly untrustworthy, and women should be on their guard. If married, you are simply a bit of a flirt, even if it's just with your own wife...but if you're single, watch out. You usually rein yourself in to concentrate on one lovely beauty at a time, but with you, we never know. You're an inviting partner, but there's a playful devil behind your eyes, and those trying to get close to you should know they're playing with fire. You're stylish and fun, but you follow your own course, which may or may not include a steady gal. Co-stars include Myrna Loy and Carole Lombard, classy ladies with an adventurous streak.

Your Score: Katharine Hepburn

You scored 23% grit, 33% wit, 42% flair, and 11% class!

You are the fabulously quirky and independent woman of character. You go your own way, follow your own drummer, take your own lead. You stand head and shoulders next to your partner, but you are perfectly willing and able to stand alone. Others might be more classically beautiful or conventionally woman-like, but you possess a more fundamental common sense and off-kilter charm, making interesting men fall at your feet. You can pick them up or leave them there as you see fit. You share the screen with the likes of Spencer Tracy and Cary Grant, thinking men who like strong women.

I am satisfied with both - how could one not be flattered by getting compared to Katharine Hepburn? - but I'm actually more delighted about being very William Powell/Nick Charles. *g*
