Like pretty much everyone else I now have a Dreamwidth account. No idea how much I will use it, other than as a possible reading list, but just so you'll know it exists.

I also finally have internet again, after defeating Our Beloved DT, crawling through a dungeon-like cellar, and fixing a cable. I now feel very technologically advanced.
