I'm not gonna lie, I thought this mostly sucked.

There was no coherence, the pacing was all over the place, several people behaved against character just to move the plot forward, most of the flashbacks seemed completely pointless, and it had more fake-out endings than The Return Of The King. And if that weren't enough, they decide to go back to nature, because Lee Adama thinks that's a swell idea. Okay. That seems likely.

Also, while I am down with being a descendant of Helo and Athena, the coda was not only overly precious, it had some of the most awkward and preachy writing of the series. Callis and Helfer came across not as angelic beings, but as car salespeople who are not really convinced of their product.

Oh well. I'll really miss the cast, but after Deep Space Nine, Carnivale, and this, my need for spiritual discovery journeys with Ron Moore is certainly satisfied for quite a while.

ETA: Does anybody know which episodes of Burn Notice have Tricia Helfer guest starring?
