So. Very good episode, but seriously, in this one, the continuity fairy didn't just get drunk, she dropped acid and smoked crack on top of it. Let's try to pick that timeline apart, shall we? )

Ladies and Gentlemen...

NBC has officially renewed both Life and Chuck for a second season! (Well, and Heroes for a third, but I don't think this is surprising to anyone.)

...nothing on Friday Night Lights, unfortunately. Keep those fingers crossed.

Writing this up, I realized that this only halfway qualifies as being a positive list, since in hindsight, I wasn't incredibly pleased with Season 2, nor with the way storylines and characters I liked were constantly shifted aside. Of course, it is slightly unfair to evaluate what is basically an unfinished product, but on the other hand, this was supposed to be a completed volume all along, and as such should be possible to be judged on it's own merit.

Interestingly enough, there was a Life episode of the same name a few weeks back. It's all connected, apparently. Spoilers for the episode behind the cut: You Do Know That You've Now Opened Pandora's Box )

Another short review this week. Spoilers for the episode and very vagues ones for the promo behind the cut.

Very late with this one, mostly because while it was a very good episode, it didn't really inspire me that much. In addition, I still have a cold, and am thus slightly cranky. Spoilers for episode and promo as usually behind the cut:

I liked this episode - even though I feel it should have been 2.01, not 2.08. Spoilers for the episode and vague ones for next week's promo below the cut:

A bit late, my apologies. Spoilers for episode and trailer as usually behind the cut:

Are you certain of these results? )

This is for [livejournal.com profile] monanotlisa, who helped me significantly in solving the problem mentioned in the previous post. She requested a drabble for Monica, and gave me the prompt "Chad," which I, er, managed to incorporate. In a way.

No actual title; no actual spoilers for Season Two of Heroes, except that a character named Monica exists. Gen.

Be gentle, this is my first attempt at something like this.

I was okay with this episode, though not exactly head over heels. Spoilers for Fight or Flight and very vague ones for next week's promo behind the cut:

Better late then never, huh? Spoilers for Ep 4, and vague ones for next week's promo behind the cut:

Erm... I really liked Heroes this week, and I'm actually still planning to write a review, it's only, well. Life, apparently, got in between, so it isn't up yet.

While you wait, why not watch this insanely cute video? I'm sure cat lovers will find the situation pretty familiar. (This is the original, btw, but I have no idea if watching it on photobucket takes away her bandwidth, hence the youtube link.)

This is a very charming interview with Cristine Rose, who plays Angela Petrelli on Heroes. It's a little over an hour long, and does cover her whole career, but it's well worth sitting through.

Seriously? I have been trying to finish this review for hours. I hate having the flu. Spoilers for Heroes behind the cut.

Brief, unsorted thoughts behind the cut:

Spoilers for Episode 2.01 )

Most people who know me know that I don't really write fanfiction, partly because I'm a stickler for canon and don't really like to be jossed, and partly because, well, I have a writer's block about as huge as the Himalaya which makes it a raging achievement if I manage to write as much as a shopping list. The closest I came to writing something in my most "active" fandom over the last few years was some of the work I did for MI.net, namely the biographies of Cassidy Casablancas and Mercer Hayes. (These contain spoilers for Season 2 and Season 3 of Veronica Mars, respectively.)

So, how did this entry come about, then? Well, I suppose I might have infected [livejournal.com profile] selenak with one (or two, or three, or ten) Heroes plotbunnies (completely accidentally of course) and so she demanded that I should at the very least make up for that by writing two lists we talked about in connection to two Heroes characters and their respective long-suffering wives - and posting them here in my journal.

As it were, this is the first one: tiny spoiler for the Heroes Season One finale )
