Lost 6.14: The Candidate

Oh, Sun. Oh, Jin. I admit that was poignant (and cheesy), but it felt unearned, seeing how little they used them over the last three seasons. It's difficult to believe characters are relevant to a narrative when you keep them around just to be able to off them shockingly (hello, Lapidus).

And yet, of course I cried, most surprisingly not only at these three but also at Sayid's demise. Although he at least got to go out in sound mind and with his affairs ordered. Here's hoping he'll run into Shannon in the mirrorverse, somehow.
