It comes back, again and again, like a bad penny. (Does that bad penny idiom exist in English languages? Is it still in use? Random aside, sorry.) So, as I have new shows:

It's quite familiar to me here in the US, but it's not exactly one I hear people use every day in conversation.

Probably a bit old-fashioned. Actually, I think I have heard my grandmother use it in conversation, now that I think about it. :)
