The Art of Procrastination: A Master's Degree

As per usual when I have to write a paper, or prepare a presentation, I find myriad ways to avoid working on the actual thing; needless to say, the internet is a great helpmate on that quest. So for everyone who has seen the latest Doctor Who episode Utopia, and also wants to catch up on a certain old foe of the Doctor, here are all of the Master's appearances (yes, including the Roberts version), which were graciously uploaded on youtube by a kind benefactor.


So far, I've watched the first episode of "Terror of the Autons" (featuring the mannequin-producing bad guys from "Rose," incidentally) and have already developed a great fondness for the Brigadeer. The intro is seriously trippy, and for some reason seems to feature the face of Two, not Three: anyone know what's up with that?
Speaking of the doc, Three is quite different from the other Doctors I know and Jon Pertwee seemed strangely familiar, until I remembered that I've been watching his son on Cadfael, which of course also starred Derek Jacobi, to complete the six degrees feeling.

Delgado is quite fun as the Master, although I suspect the poor guy was heavily typecast as a default villain. You'd suspect the man of hypnotising innocent bystanders and turning them into tiny dollies by cultural conditioning alone.
